CCIE R&S Lab 5-Day Instructor-Led Boot Camp

Prepares CCIE candidates for the one-day Security “hands-on” lab exam.

Course Description

GlobalNet Training is pleased to offer this intense course, designed to prepare CCIE candidates for the Routing & Switching practical lab exam. Over five days, candidates will solidify their existing knowledge, expose their weaknesses and gain vital test-taking strategies.

This class is designed for candidates who are within 6 months of their lab date. This Cert Magazine 2006–2007 Salary Survey illustrates the fact that Certification is the key to a higher salary.

This class does not cover introductory material, as candidates are expected to have a CCNP level knowledge of the topics covered in order to gain the full benefit of the class. This class consists of five hours of lecture per day and five hours or more of hands-on per day. This is a real class and not a workshop.

During the class, the instructor will identify the most common mistakes that candidates make. This should provide each individual with an assessment of their own readiness. Each candidate will work through challenging scenarios on their own vRack of equipment.

The course is fast-paced, allowing you to learn details of topics as well as focus on your specific areas of weakness, strengthen more familiar topics, and improve your speed. With the exam’s one-day format, it is critical that you master the basic elements such as switching technologies, IGPs, BGP and QoS prior to your lab attempt. Each student will have access to their own vRack of equipment consisting of 2800 and 3800 series routers, quad Catalyst 3550/3560s and the needed media types that you will see on your lab exam.

We will not just point you to your rack of 2500 series routers, hand you a stack of lab scenarios and turn you loose. Our team of developers and instructors invest considerable thought and effort into our course offerings. Our courses are developed with a specific goal in mind: to provide you with the tools — lab scenarios, assistance, guidance and lectures — you will need to pass your CCIE lab exam.

We do not use our lab workbooks or e-Scenarios as the course content. Course labs and lectures have been written specifically for this intense boot camp and are completely different materials.

We strongly recommend that you have purchased and completed a majority of the labs in our CCIE R&S Lab Preparation Workbook prior to attending this course.

Compare with the Competition

Comparing training vendors? Nobody is committed to your success like GlobalNet Training and IPexpert. Ask the other companies...

  • Do they have an investment protection guarantee program and how long are you covered by it?
  • When you retake their class, do you get full access to a dedicated rack of equipment again or do you only “audit” the class with no access to hardware?
  • Are the electronic versions of all updates offered at no charge?
  • Do they have full-time employed instructors that also invest in your success by developing and continually improving the training content?
