Hi Todd,
I know that this is in the wrong thread, but I could not see where else to put this question.

I'd like to say thank you for writing a book that is so easy and enjoyable to read. I recently purchased your CCNA certification 5th edition. I'm well aware of the up-coming changes to the new CCNA course.

I have read from elsewhere that 5th edition is superseded by the 6th edition, however I couldn't see a 6th edition for the 640-801 course on Amazon.com. Even on your website you have a picture of your new book for the 640-802 course, but if one looks closely at the picture it shows 640-801 on the cover (see attachment).

I'm really confused, could you please clarify if the new book is on the 640-801 material (in which case it would be only useful till November 2007) or does it reflect the newer material for the 640-802 course (in which case the picture should be updated).

Confused

Thanks for writing.

Yes, it is the 6th edition, but Sybex decided not to call it the 6th edition because the test number changed.

Whenever the test number changes, the book goes back to version 1.

So the book is called just CCNA 640-802. However, the book shown has the wrong test number on it, but that is just for that picture, not that actual book - trust me, I was all over that!

Just order the book found on www.lammle.com (http://www.lammle.com).

Cheers!

Ok, a followup to the above confusion. The 640-802 Deluxe Edition is listed as 5th edition. But is equivalent to the non-deluxe 6th edition of 640-802?

I _just_ received the 5th edition deluxe today from Amazon. Just wanted to make sure that things are cool with it.. :)

Btw, on a somewhat related note, there doesn't seem to be any documentation anywhere saying that the items on the CD-ROMs require Windows. Yeah, I know we're in a Windows world, but still - would have been nice to know. :)
