debug ip ospf packet

Hello,

I have a question regarding the debug ip ospf packet command.

I have the CCNA Study Guide Sixth Ed.

Page 462, Table 7.4
debug ip ospf packet Shows Hello packets being received on your router.

Page 463, half way down following output from the debug ip ospf packet command. "In the preceding output, we can see that our router is both sending and receiving Hello packets every 10 seconds..."

The output does NOT show any packets being sent, only received. Page 462 mentions Hello packets being received and page 463 mentions packets being sent and received, although no sent packets are visible in the output. Does the command debug ip ospf packet show Hello packets being Sent AND Received or just Received? I have searched online and found nothing. I have tried the CCNA Virtual Lab, Titanium Ed ($200) however, it is very limited and does not recognize the debug ip ospf packet command. Or any of the debug ip ospf commands for that matter.

you are correct
I thought I fixed that, and I probably have in the latest printing of the 6th edition, but I got that command confused with the debug eigrp packet, which does show both sending and recieving of hello packets....the ospf command only shows the receiving.
