Recently, I learned from Cisco Systems certification departments that CCNP will be change at the end of 2009 year !
About in 2009 (western North America time) around Christmas.

I have already been through the CCSI training and am certified in these courses.
It's great that they are making these basic routing and switching courses again.
However, they are pretty tough.
Do NOT wait to take your CCNP - it will not be easier.

Indeed. Anyone thinking that three exam will be better than four is in for a big surprise.
Taking the CCNP now, some of the stuff on the course is odd. They seem to have taken stuff from other exams to "pad out" the course. IPsec, MPLS, AAA.
At least this is some warning of what is to come.
So any idea when the current track will become obsolete? i.e If I take the first exam tomorrow, will I still have 3 years to complete it?

If it works the same way as the CCSP did no. One of the guys i work with did two CCSP exam and then they changed it and also brought in the CCNA Sec as a pre exam.
He had to take his CCNA Sec and then one of his CCSP exam was dropped, so he has to take another one.
I have emailed Cisco so hopfully they will get back to me. The dates they have given are not worldwide either we may get another few months in the UK.
