I passed ICND1 earlier this year, and am about to start studying for ICND2. I have Todd's CCNA Study Guide (640-802). I reviewed some other posts, but can't find the exact answer. Which chapters should I study for ICND2? It would seem 6-11 and 14 (which leaves out wireless and IPv6). That sound about right?
Thanks

I would read the whole of the 640-802 book.
Nothing like being over prepared.

Hmm. I think that kind of defeats the purpose of taking the two test approach. If I wanted to study the entire material at once, I would just have tried for 640-802. I thought breaking it up would help me focus and retain the relevant material.
But I see your point --- certainly knowing all the material is never bad. Just trying to optimize my time.

I would just check with the objectives for ICND2 and study accordingly.
Personally, in preparation for ICND2 I am going to buy CCNA study Guide sixth edition and also download the eraata from sybex because of the errrors and also use cisco's website- every single resource they have to prepare for this exam which is alot. Just checkout cisco learning network: https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/index.jspa?ciscoHome=true
Wendlell's book is going to bore me out so decided against it. I may also purchase CBT nuggtes videos - Jeremy Cioara.

In a previous question about what to study for the ICND1 using the CCNA book, Todd recommended Chapters 1-6, 12 and 14. I would guess that studying all other chapters, and reviewing those ones would be the way to go for the ICND2, that would be 7-11 and 13.
