Hi,

I'm interested in finding the best sources for studying for and practicing for the CCNP certification. I'm currently out of work, and will likely be taking my CCNA in a week or so, and figure, if I'm still sitting around the house with nothing to do, I might as well start studying the CCNP material as well, since knowing that material as well will help me when interviewing, and if it takes long enough, who knows, perhaps I can study/practice enough to actually take the CCNP certification as well.

I've been doing ISP backbone related technical work for 12 years, so I a certain level of familiarity, but the biggest obstacle at the moment is not being employed, hence no equipment to practice on. I bought NetVisualizer 5.0 and will be able to upgrade to 6.0 once it's out, but I'm not sure that is enough for the CCNP.

So besides which book(s) is/are best to study CCNP materials, I would also need to consider best simulator options so I could get in reasonably accurate practice time.

Thanks,

James
