I have Googled but haven't been able to find an exact answer. Does the 640-802 lab simulator allow usage of the so-called "magic question mark" or less importantly, tab completion of commands?
I know what the commands are of course, but a lot of the syntax and options can get pretty long or branch off in a lot of directions and it just seems if you'd have it in the field, it would stay true to that. You can't be a walking encyclopedia after all.. as long as you know what does what and can reference it quickly, no?

yes, you can use the question mark and shortcuts. I can say this because Cisco mentions it on their web site!
Here's the deal, though. If you dont' know it well enough to configure a router and/or switch without much or any help, you will fail because you'll run out of time.
you MUST know your routing and switching like neve before!
Study, study, and then study some more!
OK, didn't mean to be depressing :p
The test is just really, really hard.
Good luck!

I have recently joined private coaching class for CCNA, and already feeling like this study is much vast and important than any other engineering studies. I am trying my best to give as much as time possible for practicing. Thank you for your suggestion

Yes, the test is very hard.
I cleared CCNA two months ago and the test was very very hard. Even though I read Mr. Todd Lammle's book twice before exam but still I use to read it regularly because I start forgetting some commands after few days. So I think we need to be in touch regularly if we want to be perfect in networking....
