Since there are tons of material to study/order/buy/simulate. I know Lammle's are good.
Would one say that the: CompTIA Network+ Study Guide: Exam N10-004 (http://www.amazon.com/CompTIA-Network-Study-Guide-N10-004/dp/0470427477/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267656408&sr=8-1) by Todd Lammle (http://www.amazon.com/Todd-Lammle/e/B000APOJ5M/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1267656408&sr=8-1)

or
CompTIA Network+ Certification Kit: (Exam: N10-004) (http://www.amazon.com/CompTIA-Network-Certification-Kit-N10-004/dp/0470430974/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267656408&sr=8-3) by Todd Lammle (http://www.amazon.com/Todd-Lammle/e/B000APOJ5M/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_3?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1267656408&sr=8-3)

is better than the other one?
if I have an A+, MCDST, MCP and looking to get N+, ccent, ccna routes started. Which one would be best the Kit or the study guide?

Thanks,
Jeff

The regular study guide is sufficient for studying and passing the Net+ exam.
The kit has more practice exam questions, but my study guide has plenty of questions as well as flash cards and bonus exams on the CD. Save the money on the kit, you'll be fine.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers!

Would you suggest doing Net+ first to get a basic understanding of networking, then moving onto ccna, etc?

This all depends on how your current networking skill set is. If you already know about OSI model, subnetting, cabling and Ethernet standards, go straight for the CCNA. The Net+ is a great foundation tool that's vendor independant, and a good place to start if you're looking to get into a new field.

Plus it will count as an elective for MCSA when coupled with your A+

use videos as a refrence ..
i always says there are two ways to use videos and study guide
1 video -> study guide -> practise
2 study guide -> video ->practise

i prefer the first one...reading a lot fun and easy after knowing concepts ...:)
