Network+ exam pass %

Hello,

I am preparing for Network+ exam. I wanted to know what is the score % requirement to pass the test. CompTIA website says 100 questions, passing score 720 in a scale of 100-900. I am confused:confused: about the %. Can somebody explain this please?

There is no % pass score. Questions are weighted, which gives you an overall score out of 1000. You cannot get say, 83/100 correct and pass. No one really knows how the questions are scored, that's down to the provider.

If you want a ballpark figure, it's about 80%, but that's not going to help you very much as I said, questions are weighted. It's easier just to forget how much you need to pass and just do your best, study everything etc.
