Hello, could you give me a hand on this question?

The PS4network administrator wants to install some new wireless equipments into PS4 LAN, which wireless LAN design ensures that the mobile wireless client will not lose connectivity when moving from one access point to another?
A. The administrator can configure all access points to use the same channel
B. Overlapping the wireless cell coverage by at least 10%
C. Using adapter sand access points manufactured by the same company
D. Utilizing MAC address filtering to allow the client MAC address to authenticate with the surrounding APs

Answer: ?

I appreciate all your attestions

The best answer is b, you should overlap the cell coverage so the next AP picks up the wireless client before it goes out of range of the first one.

You certainly dont want to use the same channel on all APs as this will cause interference. Authentication has nothing to do with this question.

I thought that it was B, but I also read in the Sybex Book that the there should be at least 15% overlapped coverage, so I have a doute now....

The percentage of overlap isn't the important thing, the question is asking if you understand the principle behind it. The amount of overlap will depend on many factors, most of which are environmental, so you cannot put a definitive answer to this.

the anwer is B, but in reality it should be probably 15%, which is why I wrote that in my book.
