Hello,
I have one month (almost 5 weeks) to get my CCNA if I want to keep my job. So I'm wondering what toolset you all recommend to acquire this knowledge in order to pass the test in this time. Todd has a lot of materials out and I'm considering a combination of them. This will be for the 640-802.
Thanks,
Danny

Use Lammle's CCNA book. It is almost a reflection of the test!

Thanks for the nice post.
the book is helpful, but you have to really, really study...plus get hands-on experience. You must be able to troubleshoot small to medium size networks and you can get all the experience by just reading a book.
However, the book will help lead you in the right direction of study!
I also have classes at GlobalNet Training, and other products at lammlepress.com, but reading, studying and practicing with routers and switches is very necassary.
Just don't consider that one source of study will help you pass the exam - it could, but it is unlikley. You need many sources and many, many hours of practice and lots and lots of troubleshooting.
Good luck!

On the latest test, are topics such as ISDN, Frame Relay, and DSL modems covered? Does anyone have any info on what "NOT" to study that may have been on the previous CCNA exam?

What other books and materials do you recommend that we read or use to prepare for the CCNA or just to keep up with the changing technology and required skills?

Be sure and always check this site for the latest CCNA exam information:
http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/current_exams/640-802.html
Yes, Frame Relay and IPv6 is listed in there. ISDN is not.
Since you are probable reading my book, the Cisco press books have good infromation that might fill in some blanks for you. My books write for the exam objectives, the CP books write a white paper on a technical discusion for CCNA, which has lots and lots of addition information. I personally do not add too much extra material as the CCNA objectives have a lot of materia in itself.
Cheers!
