Do we need to remember RFC numbers

When reading one dumps , i found one question like this ...

There are SO many rfc's that pertain to security, I can't see how anyone can remember them all. I honestly don't recall if I had any on my exam (and of course I wouldn't tell you if I did Very Happy) but you might want to remember that one and know a little about it, just on general principle.
