can i install sdm software into old routers like 2500, or I have to have 1800 routers or later

Just so you know, unless you have a contract with Cisco, you can't just download the SDM software. It does come standard on quite a few of the newer 800, 1800 and 2800 series routers, but they are fairly spendy in the first place.

thank you very much for sending me that list, is really help full, but I'm not sure which product is later than the other, I mean is 1800 better than 815, or 1700 router older than 2800, I'm bit confused about these routers, and there is no way I could go to market and ask the seller which one is the best,
could any body give me the indexed list by date of these routers and switches.
