[not the right part of the forum but I couldn't find anything fitting it better]

My next stop in Cisco certification is CCSP. I have two scenarios for this:
Preferred: Globalnet bootcamp
Alternative: Study exam by exam

Even if I get to do it the preferred way, I want to have passed at least one exam and have done some studying on the others. It would also fit well with the alternative.
Question is, which exam to do? From what I understand SNPA (642-523) is recommended to start with. Any thoughts on this?

That is a hard one.
Everyone that comes to GlobalNet Passes and achieves their CCSP.
I don't know of anyone that has self studied and done it.
This doesn't mean that it can't happen, I just haven't heard of it.
It's pretty tricky.
Sure I want you to go to globalnet, but you can buy the equipment and the Cisco Press books.
I know the equipment has costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, but this is for 12-16 students.
I am sure it would still cost you around $40k or more. You need an ASA with both an IDS and IPS module....ouch...
Well, good luck!

Hi Mr Lammle,

Did you ever think about performing a training camp out of US one day ?:D
For example a CCSP training camp in Australia (Brisbane in Queensland, the sunny state). If yes, I'll ask you to put me first on the waiting list.
Otherwise I'll wait a little before flying to Dallas.
Thanks.

That is really a hard one. Did you pass it? How does it going?
