Hi Guys!
Every time I have a problem, this forum rescues me - Thanks guys! :D
On page 155, forth paragraph down You need to assign a server and router IP address on a LAN... can the server address be any on the valid host range 25-30, i.e Todd gives the server address as 192.168.20.30, but could it be .29 or could the server address be 192.168.20.25 and the default gateway be 192.168.20.30 (i.e. just swapping the address around)?
Is there a convention when it comes to assigning IP addresses, like servers receive higher IP addresses, hosts receive lower addresses etc?
p/s Just preordered my CCNA Study Guide 7th Edition from Amazon for £22.09 - that's a bargain!
