Which of the following statements is false with respect to full duplex?
A. There are no collisions in full-duplex mode.
B. A dedicated switch port is required for each full-duplex node.
C. There are few collisions in full-duplex mode.
D. The host network card and the switch port must be capable of operating in full-duplex mode.

The answer in the book says:
C. There are no collisions in full-duplex mode.

Something got mixed up there...

C, in the question, is few collisions, not no collisions.

Actually, the answer is correct, but I can see how this can be confusing.
I am saying that "C" is false because technically there are no collisions with Full-duplex, so the question and answer is actually correct as I wrote it, but I understand why you'd think I got it backwards.

Now, just to add to this: I've seen collision on a full-duplex link because of buffer issues on the router interface, but technically, there should be no collisions with Full duplex.

Did I answer your question?
