i have a 2620xm with a nm 4a/s card which connects to a wic2T card in a 1841 router. both interfaces are showing "down, line protocol down"

the clock rate is set on the DCE to 64000 and both ends are using the same encapsulation of HDLC.

when i do a show int s1/3 on the 2600 and a show int s0/1/0
here the output.... i dont know if it has to do with the sync mode on the 2600 series......

Serial1/3 is down, line protocol is down
Hardware is CD2430 in sync mode
Internet address is 192.168.3.1/24
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 128 Kbit/sec, DLY 20000 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation HDLC, loopback not set
Keepalive set (10 sec)

and on the 1841:

Serial0/1/0 is down, line protocol is down
Hardware is GT96K Serial
Internet address is 192.168.3.2/24
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1544 Kbit/sec, DLY 20000 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation HDLC, loopback not set
Keepalive set (10 sec)

was working fine when i had both 1841 routers connected via serial.....

Sorry for sounding like Captain Obvious, but did you do a "no shut" on the interfaces?
