I currently taking the CCNA class but i am looking to drop out and take the class through self study..
I am looking to buy cbtnuggets software, Sybex text book and also some routers and switches.
Has anybody ever do business with www.ciscokits.com...
They have some routers but i don't trust people with my money. Do you know any Virtual Lab software?

Hello,
I think you will find it somewhat harder to use simulators only. Sometimes there are commands or options for those commands that cannot be used.
I am using Sybex CCNA software & real equipment. I bought my equipment - 3 routers, 2 switches, 5 NM modules, 3 WICS, additional memory and cables from many vendors - including ciscokits (from ebay not their website). I cannot reccomend them. (private message me if you want details).
If you know what you want, I think you can find better deals by piecing things together although it takes longer.

I can't agree with you more.
Buy your equipment from reputable sellers on ebay....and get up to date equipment like 870's, 1800 and 2800, as well as 2960 and 3560 switches.
The Routersim is good because it comes with step-by-step labs, which are helpful, plus you can use those labs with real equipment too.
Cheers!
