Aloha:

A had my CCNA and passed two of the CCNP tests a few years ago, but it has since expired. During all of them I used the "master" Todd Lammele's study guides. :)

I've read the new 640-802 CCNA study guide by Mr. Lammele. Bouncing around the net I see that the new CCNA exam is more difficult and includes labs. If this is the case, what is the recommendation to prepare for the exam? I've taken all the chapter tests and bonus exams and have done really well; however, I'm concerened about the labs. I've worked in routers and switches for years, but still get anxiety with the test. :(

Thoughts?

If taking all the tests in the book and on the cd, and scoring an average of about 85-95% correct, do you think someone is pretty well prepped for the exam? (this is for your new book, for the 802).

Obviously I will polish up on the areas I missed answers to (dang those WiFi distances), but was just wondering.

It is hard to say who is prepared for the exam.

I've had a few people pass with the study method you used, but I've had just as many, if not more people fail wtih the study method you have used.

IT IS HARD.

There are simulations that will blow you mind.

Now, I think that you have studied well, the problem is that your time is extremely limited.

You need to buy and used some up to date practice test questions. Not trancender, they are always behind the times. I've not seen Boson, but I have not heard they are up to date either.

pass4sure has had good results, but they are more of a test cheat site.

Either way, you need more questions to help you gain an advantage to the objective understanding you need.

Write me privately if you want more information.

Cheers!
