tftp - restore a configuration

I discovered that restoring a configuration from a tftp server, copy tftp start, does not bring all of the interfaces back in a 'no shut' condition. When I copied the configuration to the tftp server, the interfaces were in 'no shut' mode. After reload and then copying the confg file back in, the interfaces are now in 'shutdown' mode.

No pinging with no 'no shut's. :rolleyes:

Edit: This in not the case with my 2620XM's with 12.2.
It is only with the newer 12.4 on the 2651XM's and the 1841's.

That is something to watch - if i a m copying configs i made in a txt/notepad i write on the config shut or no shut.
