Adding IP addresses to a network is one of the questions in the exam. Even though I read your instructions, I still do not understand how the IP addresses are chosen for each interface (the number of hosts were not indicated in the exam). I've attached an image of the answer to the Pass4Sure practice exam for your review.

I am not sure about that particular screen as I haven't seen pass4sure, other that I know they are a cheat site.
However, this is an easy question.
All you have to do is look at the router with a show ip int brief command, see the assigned ip addreses to each interface, then determine what subnet they are in. Should take you just a couple seconds. If you cannot subnet in a couple seconds, then you are not ready for the exam - period.
Looks like they provide the answers for you, so once the subnet for each router interface is known, you can choose the valid host for that subnet and apply it to an interface.
I don't know how else to answer this as that screen has very little information for me to help you with.

So, unless the desired number of hosts is indicated, as long as I remain within the valid host range, I should be ok?
