Hello, I currently connect to the internet via a linksys router to a motorola cable modem, but since I bought a couple 2500 series routers off ebay I would like to try and get one of those to connect to my cable modem. I believe I have done everything correct so far using Todd's examples in his book as far as setting up PAT and my ACL, but I was wondering what ip address do I assign my outside interface to on my router, the one that connects to the cable modem? :confused:
edit: it's actually working, I was trying to test using domain names but apparently I need to still set up DNS...
