The routersim is a good peice of software for the money.
Great for CCNA....

The audio covers the CCNA objectives.
There is a demo of it on the CD of my book. Put the CD in and you c anhear a small section and then you'll understand how it is laid out.

It would be a good piece of software if they ever get the problems all figured out. I am very disappointed in it myself. I am working on EIGRP Lab 7.1 and it wont take commands on the first try, sometimes you have to type it in 5 times. Also a few times while working on the lab, just typing in commands the software has just disappeared, closed up for no reason. I am thinking maybe I made a mistake with my purchase. I am trying to get ready for 640-816 by next week and I need to practice but this is just putting me behind.

I agree that is it not perfect.
I recommend real equipment.
If you can't afford it, the routersim is ok for CCNA. It does provide the commands you need for CCNA.
If you have a problem with the routersim, write to them at techsupport@routersim.com
