Hi Mr Todd Lammle,

Do you have any books recommended for the preparation of CCNP?
Your book CCNA Study Guide is excellent!

Thanks.:D

I know a lot of people ask me this every day.

I have a hard time just keeping up with the CCNA!
There are new CCNA materials coming out every day.

I remember 10 years ago I wrote a book and didn't have to think about it again for at least 2 years...those days are long gone.

Cisco Press has some CCNP material out, although I cannot say if it is good or bad, but they are the only ones that have anything out at all. I doubt you can pass the exam with it, but I am sure you can use it for studying and learning. You'll probably need pass4sure or other online study material after you read all the books.

Well, thanks for posting and I am glad you like my book! :)

Cheers!

Yeah I got an email from Cisco, there's suppose to be some sort of middle ground between the CCNA and CCNP now.

Cisco is doing some CCNA Wireless, CCNA VoIP, and CCNA Security Certifications. hmm more money for Cisco???

I don't know what Cisco is trying to do, nor do I know if anyone will care about the new CCNA Security and CCNA Voice.
The CCNA Wireless should be good, and that is the one that I want to start teaching soon.
I think it is just the $$$ for Cisco as most of this is just probably hype and marketing.

I strongly recommend you a book from the Sybex. Try it in the Internet.

Hey Mr Lammle... is pass4sure the right way to go...

Definately not. Pass4sure is a dump site, and using it's materials can get you decertified.

Well that post was made over a year ago, maybe they were fine to use back then, but I wouldn't recommend it now.
