It sounds like the current IOS does not have all the dhcp functionality for IPv6 that it does for IPv4. You mentioned about needing to run dhcp server on some other server than running it on the router. Do you expect this to change in a future release of IOS? It was nice to have that flexibility of running that service on the router or say a Windows server.
