I just passed the ICND2 on the first try after reading Todd's excellent book, "CCNA Study Guide, 7th. edition" and owe Todd a great deal of credit!!!!

Todd's guide is invaluable and was the crossover book in my understanding of this sometimes dry material. Todd gets it and he dishes it out in a friendly, conversational tone while making baffling material clear as a bell. He also gives you a great asset by the labs he provides for you.

If you want to pass on the first try, read this book and soak it in. Subnet in your head (which you will understand how after reading this book), practice labs, and know your routing protocols, VTP, STP, VLANS, and switching. Todd gives you everything you need to pass in this book, so use it! Thank you Lord, and thank you Todd Lammle!!!! :D

Well, I am a little humbled to be mentioned on the same sentence as "The Lord"...but I appreciate the happiness and thankfullness, Oceanxone!

Congratulations on your hard work; but you give me way too much credit here. I provided some tools, sure, but you still had to do all the work and study hard.

Congratulations on your success, and thank you for sharing your success and happiness on my forum.

We'll look for more successes from you in the future!

Please post your status and keep us up to date on what you are working on.

Cheers!
Todd Lammle

Thanks, Todd Lammle! Hey... I mentioned the Lord first! :D You are VERY humble. You need to take some credit for being the greatest technical writer ever so just suck it up, ha ha!

Thanks again, Todd! You're the man. OHHH, by the way... did I mention the author of the book I used to pass the Network+? His name is Todd Lammle! :)

I hope to turn the same amount of success with this book. I recently took the icnd2 exam but did not pass (720) :(. However in my midst to find additional resources to continue my studies I heard of Todd's book and how great it was. I can say that I have already noticed a big difference with my level of understanding. I feel I will go back and do much better on my second attempt.

Congrats on passing icnd2!! I hope to join the club soon.

i am thinking about maybe giving icnd 1 and 2 instead of the 640-802 composite but i want to know how is the syllabus divided in both exams ? or is it random from both ?
are there specific chapters asked in either of the exams ?

thanks
