Hi All,
According to our SYBEX manuals, these two protocols reside at the Internet layer of the DOD model. According to every other site I have looked at regarding where these protocols reside, they reside at the Data link layer of the OSI.
Does anybody know why CISCO sees these protocols as residing at the Internet layer of the DOD. As I understand it, if these protocols reside at the Internet layer of the DOD model, they will reside at the Network layer of the OSI.
As allways, looking forward to a response.
One a different note, does anyone know how to add a new topic of discussion to this forum (no only a new thread to an existing discussion).
