I'm currently preparing for the 640-816 exam. Can anyone tell me what routers & switches are covered in the exam? I was under the impression that it will cover the 2811 & 2621 routers, as well as the 2950/60 & 3550/60 switches. I recently purchased some practice exams, which had several questions about the 6500 series. I have 6500s at work, but I was under the impression they weren't covered on this exam.

6500s are not ICND2 level.

Just curious, where did you get the practice exams from?

guess the 1800s, 2600s, and/or 2800 ISR will do 4 routers, and 2950s and 2960s for switches.

i used 2811 & 2621, 2960 and 2950!

I dont think 3550s and 3560s are included, but you may use them just for the fun of it and they will prepare you for higher level exams !!!:p
