Hello,
I would like to know if anyone is aware of an issue with packet tracer and "root ID" cost when issuing the show spanning-tree command.
No matter what topology i create i get as a root id cost only the cost of the "next" connection towards the root bridge and not the sum of it. So if for example i have 4 switches in between the Root bridge and the one i am issuing the command all connected with a 1 GB int i will only get a total cost of 4 and not 4+4+4+.......
Is that a known bug? Can someone verify that with me?
Thanks
