Dear Mr Lammle:
I'm a CCNA new learner in China. I bought your Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide 6th which has been translated into chinese.I have understand the knowledge,but I can’t get used to the English exam,what should I do?<O:p</O:p

Hello,
start to improve your English! ;-) It is like learning to swim, you have to go into the water to get practise.

As non native speaker you will get 30 minutes extra for the exam, at least this is the case for me and my co-workers here in Germany!

Dude, please do not feel alone on this i know a few people who had the very same problem as you have.

What is it that you have problem with, is it reading or IT terminolgy?

I think the most difficult point is the speed of reading.
vocabulary is not a problem.I'm preparing TOEFL.;)

You are English,When you're reading English just like I'm reading Chinese.That shouldn't be a problem!
English is really a big problem for most chinese students.:(

Yeah it is a problem for me, i was a very slow learner at school. I now read everthing twice to make sure.
Whats the old saying, measure twice cut once.

If our situations were reversed, would scratching my head trying to learn your lanuage.

My English teacher encouraged my classmates and me”Chinese is known as the most difficult language in the world.You have learn it.Why can’t you learn English well?English is much easyer than Chinese!”However I still can’t use English very well.
I have some advice for you.You can read it slowly.When you have read a segment,try to retell it in you mind.That may help you to comprehend the knowledge.
