Hello, sir

My question is, the loopback in a router perfoms like a physical interface? Can you ping and telnet to the loopback interface? Is the loopback interface distibuted by the routing protocol?

yes, yes, yes....all of the above.
The only way it will be distributed by the routing protocol, however, is to make sure the network number used by the loopback interface is configured under the routing protocol.
