Hi there

At first, I know some statistics in Show ip nat statistics command and would request you if you could verify my understanding
Hits : no of time a packet is translated, is that correct ?
Misses : no time a packet do not find NAT entry in router , is that correct ?
allocated 7 (100 % ) :means pool is fully utilized and now more address is available for translation. And 0 (0 % ) means no translation has been taken place yet, is that correct ?

Secondly , could you please tell me if the knowledge of other statistics in the output of this ( show ip nat statistics ) command like CEF Translated packets or CEF Punted packets , expired translations, access-list ......refcount , queued packets is objective of CCNA if it does could some one please explain me these in simple words

Cheers

Ash

Hits. Number of times the software does a translations table lookup and finds an entry
There are two types of misses: Ones starts with a capital M, the other does not.
Misses. Number of times the software does a translations table lookup, fails to find an entry, and must try to create one.

misses Number of failed allocations from the pool.

Allocated. Number of addresses being used.

The other stuff and the above is way beyond the CCNA Ash, but still very good to know.
