What?s the difference between Internet and Ethernet?
Is the Ethernet limited to be used as the layer 2 and layer 1 in OSI model ?

I think a quick search on Wikipedia will explain the differences very clearly.

the internet is networks of networks.
it has many network protocols and topologies that encompasses it.
the internet is one huge network that consist of many smaller networks, and those smaller networks consist of smaller networks.
Ethernet is a data link protocol standard. ethernet is a layer 2 protocol. 802.3.......
ethernet is only a protocol, you could use frame-relay or ATM at layer 2...
