    Default fram relay on icdn1

I have Todd's CCENT book. Overall i think it is great. However i have been reading some comments from people who have recently taken the ICND1 and have had questions pertaining to Frame Relay. I am wondering: What exactly does Cisco expect you to know about Frame Relay for the ICND1? There really isn't much about it in Chapter 10, Introduction to Wide Area Networks. I was under the assumption that if I knew everything in Todd's book that I would be fully prepared for the ICND1.

    Thanks.

Any help would be well appreciated as I'm writing my ICND1 in three days.

It's hard to offer advice without breaking the NDA, but Frame Relay is not a CCENT topic. If people have been getting questions on FR in ICND1 then maybe Cisco are planning to add it to the exam objectives at the next revision.

Does cisco put any test questions that don't count against your score on the exam? I mean questions that they are thinking of including in the real exam later?

Maybe, is all i could say.

No one is sure how Cisco mark the exam and whether all questions count toward the total score. Some question can be so easy, it makes you think that they are in there to "make up the numbers".
It would not surprise me to think that they add some questions to pool how many people get them right.

Nothing like being a lab rat for Cisco eh? LOL...

You can only know the answer to this when you take the test. Lke I said, it's difficult to advise when there is a strict NDA you must agree to before you take the exam.
