    Default CCSP before CCNA Sec?

    Just a few quick questions

I know Todd has mentioned that he recommends completing CCSP before going on to CCNA Sec (and his course is structured as such), but can you take a single CCSP exam before gaining CCNA Sec, or do you need this as a pre-req for any CCSP exam?

I'm looking at going security route, for better job prospects rather than for extra certs (seems everywhere wants some firewall and VPN experience at the moment) and I'm thinking of getting 3/4 CCSP exams out the way, getting CCNA Sec and then taking the final CCSP exam.

If I took SNAA as the elective, would a ASA5505 be suitable for the course? The exam objectives mention configuring this model as a remote client, but is it enough for the whole exam?

Which elective is better suited to someone with a network admin role, rather than a security specific role? I don't really understand what NAC is about, but MARS could be quite useful I feel in other networking roles.

    You should be ok anyhow.

I would do the CCNA sec first mate, get your feet wet before the CCSP.

    It's the 5505 base licence.

I've gone through the IINS course material (have the ECG already) but I also have the CBT Nuggets for SNRS, IPS and SNAF. Considering there is very little ASA in the IINS exam, I've been watching the SNAF videos for a 'firewall overview' if you will. Like I said, I'd rather put on my CV that I'm competent with firewalls/ASA than say I have a CCNA Security cert.

I worked with ASA's for 3 years, with this i found the CCNA sec easy. There is not much on the CCNA sec about ASA's, but it is in there.
