    Post Certification path

Please I have CCNA certified, and I want to continue in updating myself to the next level but am not sure of which to do first.
am considering doing CCNP before CCSP and finally CCIE. so I would want to know if it is possible or it must follow this other step as I state below: -
CCNA - CCNP - CCIE or CCNA - CCSP - CCIE.
Then if it is the last step I state Above what's the differnet between the two part I stated Above.
    Thanks

If you wanted to get the CCSP you would have to do the CCNA Security first.

I drew up a flowchart for certification paths. I'm not sure if there is something similar elsewhere, but this was put together using the exam information freely available from Cisco's website. It is helping me dicide which exams to take in which order to iopen up the most choices. Hopefully others can benefit the same, too.

Sorry about the size, it's just how it got set during upload. The original is very readble I assure you If enough want the full sized version I'll pop it up on my website for download.

    Default Flow Chart

That is nice because it has all the exam numbers. Remember, those numbers change, so always check the cisco web site before signing up for an exam.

I have a flow chart without the numbers on my blog at lammle.com

    Cheers!

    Smile Flowchart explained

Thanks, I wanted a way of showing how the exams overlap each other. For example, BSCI is a requirement of CCNP, CCDP and CCIP. I also wanted to show in relative stages how each qualification compares to each other. For instance, CCDA is an associate qualification, but is placed higher than CCNA as it is harder and is potentially more lucrative for employers (average CCDA salary is close to that of a CCNP according to http://www.itjobswatch.co.uk/).

For the sake of readability, I have omitted any exam that will soon expire, or where there is more than one path to certification (either through a composite exam or through different paths such as CCVP.) In order to gain the certification, all exams linked to the box must be passed (in the case of CCSP, there is an elective exam, shown in the flowchart as three exams on one line.)
