Hi there,
I need some assistance regarding IP Accounting, I have a customer reporting about 10% of packets loss. They want to set up IP Accounting for incoming traffic from WAN side to see which user is downloading huge files. My understanding of IP Accounting is that only it can be use for outgoing traffic is that correct? if not what would be the proper way to set up ip accounting to monitor incoming traffic from WAN interface towards the LAN? any advise is appreciated, thank you. |

Can you not use top talker and NBAR or Netflow?

I wish I could use Netflow but is consider billable for the customer and they just want IP Accounting which is not billable to monitor incoming traffic from the WAN interface towards their LAN but the only way I know IP Accounting works is for output packets only unless otherwise.
