EIGRP max hop count?

EIGRP max hop count?

I posted this question elsewhere a couple of days ago, but it apparently vanished in the ether. What is the max hop count for EIGRP? I know Todd says it's 255 (page 418 of the CCNA study guide), but another study guide give the max as 224. Even stranger, one of Cisco's white papers says the max is 220 (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk36...80094cb7.shtml - near the end of the document). Anyone have any insight into this?
