TCP is used for VoIP (CCNA Fast Pass 3rd Ed., pag. 22)

Dear Todd,
I am currently reading your CCNA Fast Pass book as part of my studies to get CCNA recertified (the 2nd edition really helped me to get my first CCNA certification). Well, I am here after googling for what was going on about your note in the book saying that TCP is used for VoIP, since I knew that that just could not be...
Anyway, I already know why that note is there, since someone already asked on the CCENT Study Guide forum (http://www.lammle.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=1322) and you replied. I actually now got 2 related questions, out of curiosity I guess:
1/ Wouldn't it be a good idea to include a note about it in the official errata for your book (http://www.sybex.com/WileyCDA/SybexT...Cd-errata.html) ?
2/ Did Cisco actually state that TCP should be used for VoIP by the time you were writing the 3rd edition? I got certified in 2005, but I never remembered reading so in any of the many sources I used...
