Default Problem with PT 5.3

Hi All
I am facing a problem with the Packet Tracer 5.3 simulator software. And, I am facing this problem only while working on one particular network design I am working on, which has some 35 routers and 20 switches and some 80 hosts.

The problem is that sometimes, suddenly a popup would come saying "Packet Tracer has stopped working unexpectedly. Please save a diagnostics file and continue later on" On pressing OK, the entire thing would close, and a popup would come saying to send the error log to the creators.

I thought that I would un-install the software and re-install again, but peculiarly thing is that while I went to Add/Remove Program the PT is not there in the list. It is also not in the start menu. It is there only as a Desktop and Quick Launch icon.

What could be the problem, and how do I proceed?

Thanks in advance

Milan Chatterjee
