Question regarding Study Guides and the exams..

I was able to attend a class with Todd many years ago. I had a question regarding the Study guides that are listed on this site. I am wondering if they are "current" for taking the relevant exams for each cert. Not like Microsoft where you get halfway thru a cert path and they change up.

I am interested in starting off with the CCENT and then CCNA/CCNP track of his study guides...and wondering if the books Todd has listed will be current.
